Chantanelle Nava - Recipient of the 2010 Alumni Scholarship

Chani Nava is one of Billings West's finest. She is an excellent student, musician and citizen. Chani has taken all of West High's honor courses and has participated in West High's elite Orchestra and Choirs across four years. She has committed to 5 semesters of early morning classes, correspondence class work, an elementary classroom aide position, and two AP classes this year. She has also held down a job. Serving as West's Student Body secretary, she has taken an active role in the many activities benefiting West and the community at large and her character, service, and leadership have led to a National Honor Society tapping. Chani will begin college in the fall at the University of Montana and will be such an asset to their campus, just as she has been while enrolled at Billings West High School.
