| This scholarship was
presented at West High on May 22, 2001, by the West High Alumni
Association.
The winner of this second annual Billings West High School Alumni Scholarship is Miss Alayne Berge. She will be attending MSU-Billings next fall to pursue a degree in Nursing. The $500 award was donated in its entirety by reunion attendees from the summer of 2000. The recipient also received a Certificate of Award. The winner of this scholarship was selected by a committee of Alumni Association Board Members. She graduates with a 3.58 GPA and she is clearly a very ambitious and hard working young lady! Alayne has been very active in numerous activities including Symphonic Band, Jazz 1, Pep Band, Marching Band, Swim Team, Spanish CLub and Drama Club. Good Luck, Alayne! |

It is our hope that this scholarship will continue each year and that donations will be received each year from each of the classes holding reunions in previous summers.
